About

About Kitron

Kitron traces its operating roots to electronics businesses established in Arendal in 1962 and adopted its present EMS model and name during the 1980s. Listed in Oslo since 1997 and headquartered in Asker, the group has expanded through acquisitions and greenfield facilities into a multinational production network covering Europe, Asia and North America.

The company works across the manufacturing lifecycle, from engineering and design transfer through industrialization, printed-circuit assembly, system integration, testing, repair and product upgrades. Defence and aerospace is one of its defined core markets. Its Kongsberg operation also supports long-term production of Rift Dynamics’ Wåsp attritable drone, illustrating Kitron’s role in converting an autonomous-system design into repeatable electronics and finished-hardware output without making Kitron the platform OEM.
