About

About KRONE Agriculture

KRONE’s agricultural-machinery operation grew from the family business founded in Spelle in 1906. The division concentrates on forage workflows, supplying mowers, tedders, rakes, balers, forage wagons and self-propelled harvesters. Manufacturing depth, dealers and service infrastructure remain the foundation of the company’s market role.

Since 2017, KRONE and LEMKEN have jointly developed Combined Powers, an autonomous drive unit that can work with smart implements from both manufacturers. Public demonstrations have covered mowing, tedding, raking, soil cultivation, ploughing and seeding, with later versions refining practical operation and implement communication. The programme is material robotics exposure, but it sits inside a much larger conventional equipment portfolio. Korthos therefore keeps farm equipment primary and farm autonomy secondary.
