Lyro’s packing robot moved from technology development into a per-pack service with the vendor carrying deployment risk
Lyro Robotics uses a robotic packing cell for variable fresh produce but charges customers through a robotics-as-a-service model. That shifts utilisation, maintenance and technical-performance risk toward Lyro rather than requiring a packhouse to buy a fixed machine. The commercial product is the packing outcome and service commitment, not merely the robot hardware.
