MoveEz is a Kanazawa University spinout developing all-weather, map-light autonomous-driving technology. Its perception and decision systems draw on research begun at the university in 1998, with the company incorporated in May 2024 to commercialize autonomous public transport and robotaxi services.
The company combines software with vehicle integration, route mapping, public-road validation and regulatory support. MoveEz has disclosed more than 40,000 kilometres of autonomous testing and more than 2,000 passenger rides, while current programmes focus on moving Japanese regional transport services toward Level 4 operation. Korthos tracks MoveEz as an autonomy-stack provider and deployment operator rather than a vehicle manufacturer.
