Palladyne AI emerged from Sarcos's abandoned hardware strategy
Palladyne AI is the same public company that previously operated as Sarcos Technology and Robotics. After years developing exoskeletons and other robotic hardware, Sarcos suspended further hardware commercialisation in November 2023 and concentrated its resources on autonomy software; its later filing acknowledged that the hardware products had not commercialised successfully.
