Raon Robotics’ VACTRA range transfers semiconductor wafers between process chambers in high-vacuum environments. Direct-drive motors remove intermediate transmission components from the primary joints, supporting compact construction, low particle generation and controlled positioning inside equipment where contamination and lost wafer handling can stop production. Dual-arm and linear-travel configurations allow the robot to serve several chambers from one central position.
The company also supplies atmospheric-transfer robots, front-end modules and backbone automation that connect load ports, wafer cassettes and vacuum processing equipment. Equipment manufacturers qualify the robot, controller and mechanical interfaces as part of a complete production tool. Raon is pursuing qualification and supply programmes with semiconductor-equipment customers in the United States, Japan and China while extending the same precision-transfer engineering into display and bio-manufacturing systems.
