Telerob develops tracked uncrewed ground vehicles for explosive-ordnance disposal, hazardous-material handling and CBRN assessment. Its telemax and tEODor families combine manipulators, sensors, secure communications and common control stations.
About
Telerob was founded in 1994 and operates from Ostfildern, Germany. AeroVironment acquired the company in 2021, and Telerob now forms the German uncrewed-ground-vehicle operation within the wider AV portfolio. Its systems include compact and heavy tracked robots, precision manipulators, common Robo Command control stations, transport vehicles and training or lifecycle support.
The platform families are designed for explosive-ordnance disposal, improvised-device response, hazardous-material handling, CBRN assessment and tactical reconnaissance. Telerob remains the builder behind products such as telemax EVO and tEODor EVO, while current sales and branding are integrated into AeroVironment. Korthos preserves the subsidiary identity because engineering, manufacturing and customer support remain centred in Germany. Contract values and unit deliveries are recorded only where source disclosures provide them.
