Tyro Remotes develops industrial radio transmitters, receivers and safety controls for mobile equipment and machinery. The Cattron-owned brand supplies configurable wireless systems, including an emergency-stop option used on Husarion’s Lynx robot.
About
Tyro Remotes designs and manufactures industrial radio-control systems for electrically, hydraulically and pneumatically operated equipment. Its portfolio pairs configurable handheld transmitters with receivers and feedback functions, supporting cranes, transport equipment, winches, cleaning machines and other mobile or fixed industrial applications.
Tyro sits in the robotics control-and-safety layer rather than the finished-machine market. Husarion offers a Tyro Indus transmitter and Gemini 1S receiver set as an emergency-stop configuration for the Lynx mobile robot, establishing a named robot-platform integration. The Dutch business introduced its first flexible remote-control system in 2002 and now operates as part of Cattron’s industrial remote-control portfolio.
