Uber stopped owning its air-taxi programme but retained a role in Joby's route to market
Joby acquired Uber Elevate's team, planning and operations software, patents and other aerial-rideshare assets, while Uber invested in Joby and entered a continuing integration agreement. Elevate therefore did not continue as an Uber aircraft programme: technical and operating work moved to Joby, while Uber's surviving role was demand aggregation and app/service integration rather than aircraft development.
