Unicontrol provides the positioning, interface and control layer used to guide construction machinery against digital designs. Contractors can connect different correction services, file types and machine brands instead of standardising on one OEM.
Unicontrol3D launched in 2019, the company entered the US in 2022 and automatic grading followed in 2023. Spectra Precision acquired it in 2024 within Precisional. It remains machine-control infrastructure, not a manufacturer of autonomous excavators or loaders.
