Sota hardware can outlive the cloud services that supplied much of its conversational behaviour
Vstone’s Sota was deployed through service packages that paired the physical robot with third-party cloud speech and dialogue systems. Changes or termination in those services can remove capabilities without changing the robot’s hardware status. A Sota unit remaining powered on is therefore not equivalent to the original service remaining available.
