IRB 6750S is ABB's high-payload shelf-mounted industrial robot for die casting, injection molding, material handling and spot welding in space-constrained production lines.
About
ABB IRB 6750S is a six-axis shelf-mounted industrial robot family for handling heavy parts from an elevated position. Its six published configurations pair payloads from 185 to 350 kilograms with reaches from 3.2 to 3.9 metres, including LeanID variants with integrated dress packs. Mounting above the floor extends the working envelope downward into large die-casting and injection-moulding machines or across multi-level automotive lines.
OmniCore control gives the family path accuracy down to 0.9 millimetres and position repeatability down to 0.06 millimetres, depending on the configuration. ABB reports energy use up to 20 percent below the previous arrangement when the robot is combined with OmniCore regenerative technology. Shared motors, gearboxes, wrists and cable components across ABB’s modular large-robot range are intended to simplify spares and service for material handling, die casting, injection moulding and spot-welding cells.
