About

About AM8000 Servomotors

AM8000 is Beckhoff’s synchronous servomotor family spanning seven frame sizes and as many as four stack lengths. Catalogue configurations cover standstill torque from 0.2 to 129 newton-metres and speeds up to 12,000 revolutions per minute, with low rotor inertia and overload capacity reaching five times rated torque.

Fully potted stators improve heat transfer to the housing, while One Cable Technology carries power and digital encoder feedback through one motor cable. A 24-bit SIL 2 safety encoder is standard for precision applications, and resolver versions remain available. Modular mechanical options, matching gearboxes and a stated bearing-service life of 30,000 hours support machine building across automation and robotics.
