About

About Husky A200 Observer

Husky A200 Observer turned Clearpath Robotics' rugged Husky A200 base into a packaged inspection system with its autonomy and sensing already integrated. Its standard sensor stack combined a pan-tilt-zoom camera, 3D LiDAR, front and rear depth cameras and 2D LiDAR, with optional thermal imaging and directional audio for condition monitoring.

OutdoorNav provided browser-based mission planning, autonomous obstacle avoidance and repeatable data-collection routes, while cellular and Wi-Fi links supported remote supervision. The documented A200 configuration weighs 98.5 kg, moves at up to 1 m/s and leaves 10 kg for additional payloads. Clearpath now maintains this ROS 1 product in its legacy documentation.
