VS-068 is DENSO WAVE's compact six-axis articulated robot for assembly, handling and machine-tending cells where reach and installation space are constrained. It carries up to 7 kg across a 710 mm maximum reach and uses absolute encoders and AC servo motors on all six joints.
With the RC8 controller, DENSO specifies a 0.31 second reference cycle and +/-0.02 mm position repeatability. The standard robot is approximately 49 kg and IP40; protected IP67 and ISO Class 5 cleanroom configurations extend the same motion platform into wet-process and controlled-environment applications.
