Epson C12XL-A1401 is a six-axis long-reach industrial robot with 12 kg maximum payload and 1,400 mm wrist-centre reach for large work envelopes.
About
Epson C12XL, model C12-A1401, is a tabletop six-axis robot built for work that needs more reach than Epson’s smaller C-Series arms. It reaches 1,400 mm to the wrist centre and 1,480 mm to the mounting face, carries up to 12 kg and weighs 63 kg. Epson specifies ±0.05 mm repeatability and an 8,751 mm/s maximum composite speed; the published 0.50-second cycle uses a separate 1 kg reference condition and should not be treated as universal throughput.
The arm targets assembly, machine tending, packaging and handling across a broad envelope while keeping a compact base. Standard and ISO Class 4 cleanroom/ESD configurations support ordinary factory and controlled-production installations. The rated payload is 3 kg even though the permitted maximum is 12 kg, so motion limits, wrist moment and inertia must be checked for the tool and workpiece. Epson pairs the arm with its robot controller and RC+ programming environment; tooling, sensing, guarding and cycle validation remain application-specific.
