About

About RoBattle

RoBattle is IAI ELTA's ELA-6681 autonomous tactical ground system for ISTAR, advance-guard, decoy, ambush and force-protection missions. Its modular robotic kit combines vehicle control, navigation, real-time mapping, autonomy, sensors and mission payload interfaces, allowing the platform to operate across difficult terrain with different levels of autonomy.

IAI introduced RoBattle at Eurosatory in June 2016 and described wheel or track configurations with payload options including manipulators, ISR sensors, radar and remotely controlled weapon systems. A later combined ground-air configuration paired RoBattle with the BirdEye 650D aircraft, using each platform as a communications relay and linking their sensors to a remote command-and-control centre for border patrol and reconnaissance.
