About

About Infinium Scan

Infinium Scan is an autonomous warehouse inventory system built around a mobile ground robot and a tethered self-flying drone. The base navigates warehouse aisles while the drone raises multiple cameras to scan pallet barcodes, locations and carton counts, including storage positions above normal manual reach. The tether supplies continuous power and keeps the aircraft physically connected to the ground unit.

The system sends captured inventory records to warehouse management software and is designed to work without warehouse Wi-Fi or a pilot. Infinium Robotics specifies a scan time of two to five seconds per pallet location, operation above 30 feet, and access to very narrow aisles about 0.7 metres wide. Chevron Oronite Singapore has used Infinium Scan for stocktaking and reported reducing work that took days to a matter of hours.

Specifications

  • Scan Time Per Location S: 2–5 seconds per pallet location
  • Flight Height M: More than 30 ft (approximately 10 m)
  • Minimum Aisle Width M: Approximately 0.7 m (2 ft)
  • Architecture: Autonomous ground robot with one tethered self-flying drone and multiple cameras
  • Endurance: Unlimited operational flight time while tethered
  • Software Integration: Transfers barcode, position and carton-count data to and from a warehouse management system
  • Navigation: Autonomous aisle navigation with obstacle and human avoidance; no pilot required
  • Connectivity: Operates without warehouse Wi-Fi
