MG15HL is Kawasaki Robotics' six-axis floor-mounted industrial robot for moving exceptionally heavy workpieces. Its 1,500 kg payload and 4,005 mm maximum reach are paired with ±0.1 mm position repeatability. A hybrid JT2/JT3 link mechanism avoids a large counterweight, while high-rigidity ball screws reduce backlash and arm deflection during loaded motion.

The 6,550 kg mechanical unit works with Kawasaki's E58 controller and has a specified 15 kVA power requirement. Material handling and machine tending are its core workflows, with the arm's stiffness also supporting counterforce processes such as riveting, drilling, machining and friction spot joining. Wrist torque reaches 15,000 N·m on JT4 and JT5, allowing engineered tooling for very large automotive, foundry and general-manufacturing parts.
