About

About Lumotive M30

Lumotive M30 Development Kit is a compact solid-state LiDAR reference design built around the company’s Light Control Metasurface beam-steering technology. The 55 × 35 × 25-millimetre module draws 8 watts and measures from 0.1 metres to an absolute maximum of 25 metres, with Class 1 eye safety.

Its software-defined scan supports a 120-degree non-steering field combined with 90 degrees of programmable steering and a 10-hertz full-frame rate at the default configuration. A MIPI data interface connects the sensor to host compute, while the Open Lidar API lets developers tune scanning behaviour for robotics, industrial perception and mobility prototypes. The kit operates from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius.
