About MicroVision MOVIA Air

MicroVision MOVIA Air is a drone-agnostic perception payload for mapping and autonomous exploration. The system combines MOVIA solid-state LiDAR sensors, a camera, companion processor and navigation software, with an optional power module. It can operate in darkness, urban clutter and GNSS-denied environments while sending its 3D map to a ground station in real time.

Compatible sensor configurations include MOVIA L units with 60- or 120-degree coverage and MOVIA S with 180-degree coverage. Map resolution is configurable from 5 to 100 centimetre cubes across mapping altitudes from 0.5 to 50 metres. Outputs can carry RGB texture, elevation, surface inclination, traversability, semantic labels, obstacle occupancy and optical reflectivity for rescue, security, surveying and infrastructure missions.
