It provides a 1,388 mm reach, 13 kg maximum load and ±0.05 mm repeatability, with published maximum composite speed of 9.7 m/s. The controller supports Mitsubishi's wider factory-automation environment and optional force and vision functions.
Standard RV-13FRL protection is IP40. Mitsubishi also lists an IP67 oil-mist configuration and an ISO Class 3 cleanroom version, allowing the same arm family to be configured for different production environments. Its rated load is 12 kg even though the maximum load is 13 kg, a distinction retained in the public specifications.
