About

About Olympic Arm

Olympic Arm is Nauticus Robotics' fully electric work-class subsea manipulator for intervention and tool handling at depths down to 4,000 metres. The seven-degree-of-freedom arm has a 1,850-millimetre reach, lifts up to 250 kilograms and produces up to 4,092 newtons of grip force. Its electric actuation removes hydraulic components while absolute position sensing and a six-axis load cell support precise motion and force awareness.

Operators can command the arm through direct Cartesian control with haptic feedback, and the wrist supports subsea tool changes for different intervention tasks. Peak wrist torque is 170 Nm and peak electrical demand is 4 kW. Nauticus also integrates the manipulator with its Azimov safety architecture and supervised-autonomy software, enabling environmental perception and automated behaviours while retaining human checks for critical underwater work.
