ANDROS SR1 is Peraton Remotec's one-person-portable unmanned ground vehicle for first-look reconnaissance, tactical response and explosive-ordnance work. The 29 kg tracked platform measures 635 × 406 × 483 mm and reaches 8 km/h. Front and rear articulators support 45-degree slopes and stairs, while the chassis can pass through openings about 419 mm wide.
A six-degree-of-freedom manipulator reaches 1.5 m vertically and 1.14 m horizontally. It lifts 13.6 kg close to the robot and 6.8 kg at full extension, with continuous gripper rotation and interchangeable accessories for cutting, breaching, sensing and hauling. Standard imaging includes a low-light pan-tilt-zoom surveillance camera plus arm and drive cameras. Radio options extend beyond 500 m line of sight, a 100 m fibre tether is available, and the enclosure is designed to IP65 for wet or dry surfaces.
