About

About RB-SUMMIT+

RB-SUMMIT+ combines Robotnik's RB-SUMMIT mobile base with a Kinova Gen2 or Gen3 arm to support manipulation away from a fixed workcell. The base can use Mecanum wheels for omnidirectional indoor movement or conventional wheels for skid-steer travel, while the open ROS architecture exposes navigation, sensors and manipulation functions for research development.

Six- and seven-degree-of-freedom arm configurations provide 985 mm reach and accept two- or three-finger grippers. The platform carries up to 15 kg, travels at up to 3 m/s and is offered for inspection, logistics, medicine and remote-monitoring experiments in indoor or outdoor environments.
