About NINBUS

NINBUS is a rack-based case-storage system in which the same mobile robot handles horizontal travel, vertical travel, lifting and placement. Cases move directly between storage positions and an input/output station, reducing the number of conveyors, lifts and transfer mechanisms required by conventional automated storage.

ROMS offers configurations beginning with one robot and one rack and says storage can extend to four rows on each side of an aisle. Distributed control allows other robots to cover work when one unit stops, while a Robot-as-a-Service option lowers upfront deployment requirements for smaller logistics sites.
