About

About SR-Endurance 8.0

SR-Endurance 8.0 is a self-righting aluminum monohull designed for extended uncrewed work beyond sheltered survey sites. Direct-drive electric propulsion provides a 5-knot survey cruise and speeds above 9 knots, while the vessel is rated for operation in Beaufort 7 conditions and survival in Beaufort 9.

A one-metre moon pool, hydrographic winch and A-frame support multibeam sonar, DVL, ADCP, USBL, acoustic modem and towed-instrument deployments. The dedicated SR-Endurance 8.0 configuration provides up to nine days of operation at survey speed; class-level mission configurations extend to 14 days. Payload capacity is listed at 300 lb.
