About SHERPA-B

SHERPA-B is the small-load member of Sherpa Mobile Robotics' industrial AMR range. The chassis can be supplied with a simple tray, front or side conveyors, a double-sided conveyor, a bin-lift function or an integrator configuration. Sherpa states a maximum 200 kg load depending on the model, a 7 km/h top speed and bidirectional travel. The robot handles line feeding, parts transfer, packaging output and links between conveyors or automated storage.

The robot maps its workspace and uses 360-degree autonomous navigation without fixed guide infrastructure. Sherpa combines lidar, safety sensors, obstacle avoidance, optional 3D vision, dual-band Wi-Fi and a fleet manager that assigns missions and regulates traffic. Swappable batteries provide a stated ten-hour posture, while inductive opportunity charging supports continuous fleet availability. ISO 3691-4 compliance describes the vehicle design standard; site commissioning, top-module hazards, traffic rules and the completed application assessment remain essential to safe operation.
