It combines remote control from shore or a mothership with dynamic station keeping, collision detection and avoidance, auto-berthing and autonomous mast integration. A 20-foot-container payload footprint supports mission-specific equipment.
Swift 18 carries up to 5 t, reaches 35 knots, operates for up to 72 hours and has a range up to 700 nautical miles. The 5.3 m-wide vessel is specified for operation through Sea State 3. These are platform limits; actual autonomy, endurance and mission performance depend on payload, communications and operating conditions.
