About

About BlueView M900-Mk2

BlueView M900-Mk2 is Teledyne Marine's 900 kHz two-dimensional multibeam imaging sonar for underwater inspection, navigation and obstacle awareness. It produces a 130-degree acoustic field of view with 768 beams, a maximum range of 100 m and an optimum working range of 2–60 m, enabling real-time imagery where optical cameras are limited.

The sonar connects over Ethernet, accepts 12–48 V DC and consumes up to 20 W. Its 1-degree horizontal beam width, 12-degree vertical beam width and 1.3 cm range resolution support close inspection as well as wider situational awareness. Teledyne offers 1,000 m and 6,000 m depth-rated housings for ROV, diver-held and fixed subsea configurations.
