TOM 50 RE is Telerob's sub-10 kg backpackable UGV for tactical reconnaissance, mobile exploration and explosive-threat response. The compact tracked system combines five-hour endurance, 360-degree infrared imaging, secure mesh communications and modular payload support for dismounted operators.
About
TOM 50 RE is Telerob's sub-ten-kilogram tracked robot for tactical reconnaissance, building exploration and explosive-threat response. One operator can carry it in a backpack and deploy it into confined, multi-level or GPS-denied environments without a supporting vehicle.
Flippers climb stairs and negotiate obstacles, while a 360-degree infrared camera system and wide-angle optics provide day-and-night awareness. Optional SLAM creates maps across building levels, and modular payloads include disruptors and sensors weighing up to five kilograms. The robot runs for up to five hours and uses secure mesh communications as both a control link and mobile repeater for other systems.
