  • Saronic announced the purchase of a Louisiana shipyard formerly owned by Gulf Craft to serve as the prototyping and production hub for its medium unmanned surface vessel fleet.
  • The company said the site added Gulf Coast shipbuilding infrastructure and workforce capacity to support autonomous shipbuilding at scale.
  • Saronic also introduced Marauder, a 150-foot autonomous surface vessel intended to anchor its medium-class vessel expansion.

Saronic builds autonomous surface vessels and command software for U.S. and allied maritime missions. Its portfolio spans Corsair, Mirage and 180-foot Marauder, supported by shipbuilding operations in Louisiana. In July 2026 it selected Brownsville for the planned $3.2 billion Port Alpha shipyard.
