  • The program built on a 2020 collaboration that selected Volz DA-58 and DA-30 actuators for Skydweller testing.
  • The actuator work supported Skydweller flight-control reliability through redundant electromechanical systems.
  • Skydweller had received experimental airworthiness certification in Spain and tested its fly-by-wire actuation control system.

Volz Servos develops electromechanical actuators for uncrewed aircraft, advanced air mobility, robotics and specialised vehicles. The German company began actuator development in 1983 and designs compact servos for flight controls, landing gear, propulsion management and payload positioning.
