Dufour Aerospace selects Volz actuators for Aero2 cargo UAS
Dufour Aerospace selected Volz Servos to supply flight-control and throttle actuators for its Aero2 uncrewed tilt-wing cargo aircraft.

Evidence notes
- Volz supplies the fully redundant DA 26-D for flight-control surfaces and the compact DA 15-T fly-by-wire throttle actuator.
- The DA 26-D duplicates motors, control and communications electronics and power supply, while its position sensor uses a three-channel voting design.
- Dufour designed Aero2 for medium- and long-range critical cargo missions carrying payloads up to 40 kilograms.
Company context
Volz Servos develops electromechanical actuators for uncrewed aircraft, advanced air mobility, robotics and specialised vehicles. The German company began actuator development in 1983 and designs compact servos for flight controls, landing gear, propulsion management and payload positioning.
