Pipein and DG Impianti completed a 3D digital reconstruction of Acquedotto Pugliese aqueduct infrastructure in Missanello.
Evidence notes
- Pipein sent its DDS3 robot through 250 metres of 2.2-metre-diameter aqueduct with a 3D LiDAR scanner and camera suite.
- DDS3 generated high-resolution internal point-cloud data while DG Impianti used drones for external photogrammetry.
- The combined internal and external datasets produced a detailed 3D reconstruction under the Basilicata Open Lab initiative.
