mRo x2.1 autopilot reaches fielded fixed-wing use

May 21, 2018 · Product Launch · mRo / 3DR · Avionics

mRo made the x2.1 compact Pixhawk-compatible autopilot available for fixed-wing and multirotor integration.

  • The board used separate power regulation and a dedicated input-output processor to preserve control if the main processor failed.
  • Its 31.5 mm-wide design supported a standard 30.5 mm flight-controller mounting pattern while retaining Pixhawk-class functions.
  • The autopilot ran ArduPilot or PX4 and supported stabilization, logging, return-to-launch and autonomous missions.

mRo / 3DR supplies autopilots, GPS modules and supporting electronics for UAV and robotics builders. Its Control Zero H7 and other boards serve open autopilot ecosystems where integrators need flight-control hardware.
