Aerial Precision and Freefly advance FLUX on-site LiDAR workflow

Nov 27, 2025 · Partnership · Aerial Precision · Perception

Aerial Precision described its partnership with Freefly Systems around the FLUX aerial LiDAR product family and field-processing workflow.

  • Freefly introduced FLUX in August 2025 and released the product family in October with three models for different mapping requirements.
  • The systems combined Freefly flight technology and LiDAR hardware with the iPad-based Flow App for processing data in the field.
  • Aerial Precision said the partnership accelerated a shared approach to fast, practical and accessible on-site 3D mapping.

Aerial Precision develops compact LiDAR hardware and processing software for drones and mobile robots. Its payloads turn laser scanning into georeferenced three-dimensional data for surveying, infrastructure inspection, forestry and other mapping workflows.
