ReElement and POSCO International agree USD 200 million U.S. joint venture
ReElement Technologies and POSCO International agreed to establish a U.S. rare-earth separation and purification joint venture backed by USD 200 million of planned investment.

Evidence notes
- The companies signed the agreement on May 21, with POSCO International set to lead the venture as majority shareholder and ReElement supplying separation technology.
- The planned plant targets 3,000 tonnes of annual first-phase capacity and 6,000 tonnes after expansion.
- Pilot production is planned for late 2027 and mass production for 2028, so the milestone is an announced project rather than an operating facility.
Company context
