SAIC Mobility starts purpose-built Robotaxi vehicle project
SAIC Mobility moved a purpose-built, production-ready Robotaxi vehicle programme into development with a first vehicle planned for 2027.

- SAIC Mobility announced the project at WAIC 2026 on July 19 and said it had entered substantive development.
