Mitsui Fudosan and Kumamoto Prefecture establish KSCM and PASTEC
Mitsui Fudosan and Kumamoto Prefecture jointly established KSCM, which set up PASTEC to support semiconductor R&D for physical-AI applications including autonomous vehicles and industrial robots.

Evidence notes
- KSCM was established on 27 July 2026 in Kumamoto City to operate a semiconductor industry-academia-government community and support companies entering the science park.
- PASTEC is a centre inside KSCM, not a separate company; it will support implementation and packaging R&D spanning advanced and mature semiconductor generations.
- KSCM signed cooperation agreements with two Taiwanese and five Japanese organisations on the same date.
Company context
