SUitee Cobotics validated a mobile retail-assistance robot that can navigate autonomously or follow staff while operating safely around customers.

  • The sensor stack combines four SICK lidar units, a three-dimensional infrared camera, onboard AI and a Flexi Soft safety controller.
  • The robot maps store interiors, reroutes around blocked aisles and slows or stops when people enter its path.
  • After pre-summer testing, SUitee completed the first delivery of its autonomous assistance robots in September 2020.

SUitee Cobotics developed autonomous mobile robots for retail and navigation applications; the French company was liquidated and closed in 2023.
