Torqeedo propulsion enters service on the autonomous research vessel NOVA
The 15-metre NOVA research vessel began Rhine operations using an integrated Torqeedo electric propulsion and power-management system.

Evidence notes
- Two 50 kW Deep Blue 50i motors draw energy from four Deep Blue Batteries 80 for propulsion and onboard loads.
- A dedicated low-voltage circuit supplies the autonomous navigation system, instruments and lighting from the high-voltage propulsion system.
- Coupled System Management Units and an OEM display interface expose powertrain data for scientific analysis and monitoring.
