Vectus launches with Swarmer holding a 20% stake
Erik Prince launched Vectus Air Defense Systems as an air-defense-as-a-service company, with Swarmer taking a 20% equity stake and contributing autonomous counter-UAS technology.

Evidence notes
- Vectus will design, integrate and continuously operate layered air-defense systems for governments and critical-infrastructure operators under multi-year agreements.
- Its technology-agnostic architecture can combine detection and tracking, electronic warfare, interceptor drones and large-calibre guns from allied suppliers.
- Swarmer will provide autonomy and interceptor-swarming technology and co-develop counter-UAS systems; no customer deployment was disclosed at launch.
