Machina Labs raises $124M Series C and plans first large-scale intelligent factory

Feb 4, 2026 · Funding · Machina Labs · Industrial

Machina Labs closed a $124 million Series C to develop a 200,000-square-foot intelligent factory designed for up to 50 RoboCraftsman cells and thousands of annual structural assemblies.

The financing moves Machina from robotic manufacturing systems into large-scale production infrastructure for aerospace and defence structures.

  • Woven Capital, Lockheed Martin Ventures, Balerion Space Ventures and Strategic Development Fund invested in the round.
  • The planned U.S. factory is designed for up to 50 RoboCraftsman cells and thousands of aerospace and defence assemblies annually.
  • Machina said the facility will integrate forming, welding and assembly in one software-defined production system.

Machina Labs builds and operates software-defined factories for production-grade metal structures used in defence, aerospace and advanced mobility. Its RoboCraftsman cells combine seven-axis robotics, autonomous material handling and closed-loop AI controls to form, scan, trim, drill and increasingly join large sheet-metal parts without geometry-specific tooling. The company is headquartered in Los Angeles.
