Angel Robotics develops wearable robots for gait rehabilitation, walking assistance and human-strength augmentation. Its portfolio spans clinical exoskeletons, mobility systems and internally developed robot components.
About
Angel Robotics was established in Seoul in 2017 from work led by roboticist Kyoungchul Kong and later changed its name from SG Robotics. The KOSDAQ-listed company develops powered wearable systems that interpret movement intent and adjust assistance using onboard sensing, motion-analysis algorithms and force-controlled actuation. Its current facilities include a Seoul headquarters, a Daejeon advanced-research centre and a Hanam production site.
The commercial portfolio is anchored by Angel Legs M20 for clinician-led gait rehabilitation and Angel Suit H10 for walking preparation and assistance. Angel Robotics also develops rehabilitation assessment equipment, industrial support wearables and the Angel Kit component line, including actuators, motor drivers and inertial modules. Healthcare remains the strongest evidenced market, while industrial safety, defence and brain-to-robot research are expansion programmes rather than equivalent current revenue lanes.
