About
Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS is the Toulouse-headquartered divisional control company for Liebherr’s aerospace and transportation activities. It coordinates a network of engineering, manufacturing and service sites supplying civil and defence aircraft. The aerospace portfolio covers environmental-control and thermal-management systems, flight-control and actuation equipment, landing gear and onboard electronics.
Advanced-air-mobility programmes draw on that established certification and industrial base. Eve selected Liebherr for actuation and thermal-management work, while Wisk named the group as strategic supplier for the Generation 6 actuation system. These are first-tier subsystem roles: Liebherr designs and supports flight-critical hardware, but the aircraft OEM retains vehicle architecture, autonomy and programme certification. Programme values, production volumes and robotics-specific revenue are not disclosed.
