Lyft sold Level 5 but retained a commercial role in autonomous ride-hailing
Lyft sold the assets of its Level 5 self-driving division to Woven Planet in 2021 and transferred roughly 300 employees. The transaction ended Lyft's in-house automated-driving development programme rather than ending its interest in autonomous rides.
