About

About Teledyne e2v

Teledyne e2v operates as a division of Teledyne UK Limited and forms part of the wider Teledyne Imaging Group. The Chelmsford-based business combines semiconductor design and manufacturing with specialist imaging, radio-frequency and precision-timing technologies, supported by additional operations in France, Spain and Asia.

For robotics, the most direct layer is its industrial image-sensor portfolio. Standard and custom CMOS devices support global-shutter, line-scan, high-speed and low-light camera designs used for inspection, automation, logistics and machine perception. Korthos limits the taxonomy to sensor chips because Teledyne e2v is not itself a camera-led robot integrator and its wider RF and aerospace activities are not all robotics-specific.
