About

About Westwell

Westwell was founded in Shanghai in 2015 and first applied computer vision and AI to container-terminal operations. It subsequently introduced the cabless Q-Truck and expanded into Q-Chassis transport platforms, fleet-management software, terminal intelligence and battery-swapping energy services. The company established an international headquarters in Hong Kong as deployments spread beyond China.

Westwell's systems are designed for repetitive, high-throughput cargo movement in controlled but operationally complex environments. Deployments span seaports, land ports, airport cargo, automotive factories and other industrial logistics sites, with autonomous vehicles operating alongside conventional equipment and workers. This makes the company a yard and middle-mile logistics builder rather than a public-road autonomous trucking operator. Its software and energy products are part of the same integrated deployment stack.
