About

About Q-Truck

Q-Truck is Westwell's cabless battery-electric autonomous tractor for container terminals, logistics parks, factories and mining sites. Lidar, stereo cameras and other sensors provide 360-degree perception, while WellDrive combines positioning, planning and vehicle control for continuous yard movement.

The current platform detects objects to 200 metres with lidar and 80 metres with stereo vision, controls position to approximately three centimetres and uses redundant steering, braking, low-voltage power and emergency-stop systems. Intelligent battery swapping supports high-utilisation operations. Westwell integrates Q-Truck with fleet scheduling and terminal workflows and has deployed the vehicle commercially in port and logistics operations.
